One day, once a year, we stand up together and demand real solutions to the climate crisis. Because when the World comes together, there is no challenge we cannot overcome.
Join us for a 24 Hours of Reality 2016 edition ‒ The Road Forward viewing party on Dec. 6 starting at 6 pm. The BonnLAB is located in Bonn-Beuel, just a 2-minute walk from Konrad-Adenauer-Platz and easily accessible by public transportation.
The 24 hours live broadcast will feature 24 segments from each of the 24 top polluter countries, including Germany. We'd like to watch this segment (at 6 pm) and urge our leaders to press forward on the climate fight. We also want to celebrate the Paris climate agreement that came into force on November 4th and discuss how we as a community can accelerate together climate change action - both locally and globally.
Bonn is Germany's UN city. The headquaarters of the Secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change are located in Bonn.
The 23rd session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 23) will be organized by Fiji and hosted in our city by the UNFCCC secretariat next year (6-17 November 2017).
At the watch party, local activists will present a recently launched grassroots initiative aimed at welcoming and housing for free our climate friends from all over world in Bonn during the #bonnfiji @COP23 next fall. 💚
